Tiffany Howard, a talented artist hailing from Oudtshoorn, brings her stunning artwork to the spotlight at the the Droombos #KunsInniBos event.

Art has the remarkable ability to transcend boundaries, to take us on journeys that explore the depths of the human spirit. It encapsulates emotions, encapsulates memories, and, in the hands of the right artist, can offer us a glimpse into the very soul of the creator. Tiffany Howard, a creative soul from Oudtshoorn, invites us to take this journey with her as she unveils her captivating art at the Droombos #KunsInniBos.

An Artistic Adventure

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, we are called to gather at the Droombos events-venue, nestled between the Groot- and Kleinbrak River. Here, Tiffany Howard will be among dozens of painters, writers, and poets, showcasing their craft in a vibrant display of creativity.

Her art stands out, not only for its audacity but for its profound connection to life, as she affirms, “My distinctive, personal style reflects an energy of peace and joy among other things. It evokes feelings of tranquility, beauty, and life truths, all while creating magical memories and giving the viewer a peek into my very vibrant spirit and creative soul.”

Tiffany’s canvases come to life with picturesque portraits, landscapes, African animals, and flowers, all painted with contrasting, harmonious, bright colors, bold compositions, and an array of modern elements. Her belief that beauty, subjective as it may be, evokes positive emotions resonates in her artwork, inviting viewers to bask in its charm. As she puts it, “Surrounding ourselves with beautiful things goes beyond luxury; it becomes a necessity. Art turns our homes and offices into feel-good spaces, which is food for the mind, body, and soul.”

But Tiffany’s journey to this artistic haven wasn’t always a straight path. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the North-West University, followed by an Advanced Programme Diploma in Sourcing and Supply Chain Management and a PGCE qualification, she initially tread a more conventional road. However, the innate desire to create eventually called her back. “Recently,” she says, “I gave into the urge to create again, but this time more seriously, and I am now creating unconventional art every moment I get.”

Her artistic process is further fueled by the music that envelops her workspace. Tiffany admits, “Music depends on my mood; sometimes I paint in silence, but when I’m in the groove, it’s usually exciting, lively music – the kind that makes you move from the inside, like summer.” Music is an integral part of her creative process, as evidenced by the rhythmic flow that emerges from her artwork.

While faces have a special place in Tiffany’s heart, her artistic repertoire knows no bounds. She can paint anything and everything, from animals to landscapes, birds, and more. So, when you visit her exhibit at Droombos #KunsInniBos, expect to be captivated by the variety of her artistry.
